2- 1lb. cakes of Tofu
1c. of nutritional yeast
1/2 c.of soy flour
3tsp. of garlic powder
2tsp. of onion powder
3Tblsp. of tamari sauce
1 lemon juiced
1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil
Items needed:
Large cast iron skillet
Tongs
paper towels
2 large Ziploc bags (freezer bag size)
Directions:
Prepare your tofu by cutting them into small cubes of equal sizes. Marinate the tofu squares in the tamari,lemon juice, and garlic and onion powder for @ least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. After marinading , put soy flour and nutritional yeast in the two large ziploc bags. Put the tofu squares in bags, shake and coat the tofu well. Heat the oil to 350 that way it only takes maybe 3 minutes to cook the tofu. When it’s brown and crisp, let the paper towels soak up the oil. Let them cool & enjoy.
